CarAnalytics® has been serving motorists across the United Kingdom for more than 10 years, has generated over 10 million vehicle reports, and has received thousands of verified customer reviews.
Why We Are Publishing This Notice
During our investigation, we identified that these websites were using content substantially similar to our own website, including descriptions of our services, business credentials, industry awards and customer trust statements.
We have also received enquiries from customers who believed they were dealing with CarAnalytics® but had instead visited one of these third-party websites.
Action We Have Taken
Intellectual property, we have reported these websites to the relevant organisations and service providers.
These reports include:
- Google Legal
- Domain hosting providers
- Domain registrars
- Nominet (.UK domain authority)
- Companies House
- Payment providers
- Other relevant regulatory bodies where appropriate
As a result of these reports, some of the identified domains and related services have already been actioned.
However, we understand that certain operators continue attempting to trade through alternative domains and services. We continue to cooperate with the relevant authorities and will pursue further enforcement where appropriate.
