WHAT YOU GET
A service book check helps you compare the seller’s paperwork with the records available online. Your standalone report brings together three useful views of the vehicle.
See available service dates, recorded mileage and work carried out. Workshop or dealer details appear where supplied.
Entries are drawn from connected service-history databases. Some visits may not be recorded.
Confirm the registration, make, model and other basic vehicle information before exploring the service timeline.
Review available MOT results, test mileage, advisories and failure notes alongside the maintenance records.
MOT tests and services are different checks. An MOT is not evidence of regular servicing.
MISSING PAPERWORK?
A missing booklet does not always mean a missing history. Some service entries are stored electronically, linked to the vehicle rather than a folder of paperwork.
Our digital service book check searches the records available for your car. It can help owners recover part of the maintenance story and buyers ask better questions before committing.
Use the report alongside invoices, receipts and the seller’s records. A gap in the online service book does not prove a car was never serviced, and a record alone does not establish its current condition.

We look up the basic vehicle details so you can confirm the right car.
Pay £10.99 for the standalone report, or choose the Full Report Pack before payment.
Read the available service entries and MOT history online. We’ll email your report link. If no service records are found, we issue a full refund.

COVERAGE & RECORDS
Manufacturer, model, age and servicing location all affect which digital records can be found. We do not promise every service or universal coverage.

BEFORE YOU BUY
Compare service dates and mileage with invoices and MOT entries. If you spot a long gap, ask the seller for supporting paperwork and speak to the servicing garage where possible.
A digital service report is useful evidence, but it is not a mechanical inspection. Our used car buying guide explains other checks to make before handing over money.

A digital service book is an electronic record of a vehicle’s servicing. Entries may show when a service took place, the recorded mileage and maintenance details. Records depend on the manufacturer, workshop and the systems they use.
Enter your UK registration, confirm the vehicle and buy the £10.99 Digital Service Book Check. We use the vehicle identity to search available service records and present them with vehicle details and MOT history.
A check may find digital entries missing from your paper service book. It cannot recover every invoice or guarantee a complete maintenance record. Ask the previous owner or servicing garage for paperwork to fill any gaps.
You receive a full refund of the £10.99 standalone check if no service history records are found, even when vehicle details or MOT history are available. We issue the refund to the original payment method. Your bank determines when it appears in your account.
This standalone check costs £10.99 including VAT, with no subscription. It includes available service records, vehicle details and MOT history. You can check MOT history separately using our free car check.
Only entries available through the connected service-history databases can appear. Some independent garage visits and paper-only records may be missing. No digital records found does not mean that a car has never been serviced.
This is a report of available historical records. It does not let you add stamps, edit manufacturer records or create an ongoing workshop logbook. Ask the garage that serviced the car to record or correct an entry.
No. Availability varies by manufacturer, model, age and where the car was maintained. Older cars may rely on paper service books and invoices. We do not promise coverage of every vehicle or every service.
No. Service history records maintenance. MOT history records test results, recorded mileage and any advisories or reasons for failure. Both are useful, but an MOT pass does not prove that routine servicing has been carried out.
